Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Hawaii is seeking a Clinical Development & Infection Prevention Coordinator (RN) to plan, develop, and coordinate facility education and development programs for staff, contractors, and volunteers.

The role oversees the infection control program, ensures regulatory compliance, coordinates in-service activities, and directs orientation for nursing personnel. Hawaii RN license and LTC staff development experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Registered Nurse with the State of Hawaii Board of Nursing.
• Two years of experience in clinical staff development in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to learn the use of quality improvement methods and materials required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility infection control program. Ensures facility compliance with all regulatory requirements related to education, quality improvement and infection control.
• Coordinates in-service activities and programs with all departments, contractors, volunteers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Develops and directs orientation program for nursing personnel in accordance with nursing department policies and procedures and other departments as assigned.
• Develops and maintains attendance records, reports, and reference materials pertinent to all educational programs.
