Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education or related specialty.
- 1 year nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Current State Licenses & Certifications.
- Critical Care background.
Responsibilities
- Supports educational needs for assigned units including classroom, clinical experiences and learning technologies.
- Implements Tenet education programs to meet orientation and ongoing competency needs.
- Ensures all program revisions meet nursing and regulatory standards and stay current with research.
- Provides consultation to enhance continuing education and mentorship opportunities.
- Delivers and coordinates educational programs (e.g., Grand Rounds, in-services) to support nurse development.
- Provides leadership to preceptors and mentors, role modelling through education.
