Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Five years of experience in a critical care setting as an RN.
• Direct certification and work experience relevant to educational areas expected for instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with orientation of clinical staff to the electronic health record and documentation.
• Evaluates and assesses clinical competencies; provides instruction for competency development.
• Demonstrates leadership and serves as a role model to nursing staff.
• Maintains/updates training manuals; presents standardized materials to staff/managers.
• Coordinates access to educational programs and assesses educational needs.
