LCMC Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for West Jefferson Medical Center in the New Orleans area. The role leads patient-centered care, manages unit operations and fiscal planning, and collaborates with physicians and staff to uphold hospital standards.

The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety protocols, and continuous quality improvement while ensuring patient confidentiality and excellent patient experiences. Louisiana licensure and AHA BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

• Take the lead: manage the operational and fiscal responsibilities of your department or unit and initiate processes to assure the highest quality of patient care.
• Promote the mission, vision and values of the organization and maintain standards of team accountability.
• Interact with physicians, staff, patients and families to promote excellence in patient and customer relations.
• Coordinate quality assurance program improvement and participate in budget planning.
• Manage staffing: evaluate staff performance, orientation, and hiring processes.
