LCMC Health is seeking an experienced RN for West Jefferson Medical Center. The role prioritizes, coordinates, and delegates direct patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, safe care at the bedside.

You will monitor patient status, address family questions, and uphold infection control and patient safety standards in a fast-paced hospital environment. Current Louisiana RN license and BLS certification are required, with at least 2 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 2+ years of experience as an RN.

Responsabilités

• Take the lead in prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure direct patient care.
• Maintain and advocate for a safe environment for patients, families, and care teams.
• Monitor and engage with patients and families regarding significant events or questions.
• Prevent and treat wounds and ensure compliance with infection control and environment of care requirements.
• Seek supervisor guidance when tasks cannot be completed promptly or safely.
• Initiate patient and family education using appropriate resources and continuum of care services.
• Contribute to the team by assisting others when needed.
