Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City is seeking a Clinical Documentation Specialist with RN background to enhance accuracy of patient records and support coding quality within Lifepoint Health.

The role collaborates with care teams to ensure complete, precise documentation and compliance. Ideal candidates may hold RHIA/RHIT or CCS certifications; ASN/BSN preferred. This on-site role offers benefits and growth in a 152-bed community hospital.

Qualifications

• RN with AZ license or eligibility
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• RHIT/RHIA/CCS-P/CCS certifications preferred

Responsabilités

• Facilitates improvement in overall quality, completeness, and accuracy of clinical documentation
• Conducts daily concurrent reviews of medical records to identify missing or vague diagnoses and procedures
• Queries physicians on specificity of procedures and diagnoses based on coding guidelines and LifePoint Health policies
• Participates in Quality and Performance initiatives and education activities
• Maintains records to meet corporate CEU requirements
• Attends training and staff meetings; adheres to safety and ethics policies
• Performs other duties as assigned
