Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking Registered Nurses across Clinical Nurse I–III roles in Richmond, VA. Positions require current RN licensure, BLS certification, and adherence to unit-based care plans.

Roles rotate through shifts and weekends with established supervision by Nurse/Practice Managers. Clinical Nurse I–III differ in experience requirements, with diploma/associate degrees required and BSN encouraged within five years.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state.
• Diploma or Associates Degree from an approved nursing program; BSN encouraged within 5 years of start date.
• Clinical Nurse II requires 12–24 months RN experience; Clin III requires 3 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-specific care per medical orders and plan of care.
• Assist health care team with prevention of illness, wellness maintenance, and comfort.
• Demonstrate leadership responsibilities at the unit level and supervise others where applicable.
