Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to oversee patient flow and coordinate nursing unit activities during the assigned shift. You will lead a team and serve as a resource for patients, staff and providers in a fast-paced environment.

Required are Virginia RN licensure, BLS certification, and a minimum of three years of clinical experience, with prior charge nurse or supervisory exposure; BSN preferred and RN-to-BSN progress required within specified

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible compact state.
• AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
• Charge Nurse or supervisory experience.
• Academic health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient flow and coordinates activities for the clinical area during assigned shift.
• Serves as a resource and leader for patients, staff, clinicians and administration.
• Organizes work and supervises others in carrying out assignments.
