Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or a compact state).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Nurse Manager to support safe and efficient patient throughput and patient experience.
• Lead and develop the nursing team, promoting a positive unit culture.
• Coordinate staff development, preceptors, and new hires for the department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using evidence-based practices.
• Provide administrative coverage for the Nurse Manager in their absence.
• Maintain professional standards per ANA and Virginia Nurse Practice Act.
