Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks an RN Clinical Coordinator for the Enterprise Float Pool in Utah. The role coordinates clinical activities, serves as a clinical resource, and models professional practice while supporting department leadership and patient care quality.

Responsibilities include leading shift operations, coordinating patient assignments by acuity, and ensuring high standards of care through collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
• One year of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs; intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide leadership and coordinate unit daily operations during shifts.
• Direct, organize, and prioritize shift activities to meet patient care and staffing needs.
• Ensure appropriate admissions/case mix and staff skill mix for safe patient care.
• Act as liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
