Qualifications

• BSN required and Illinois RN license in good standing.
• 3 years RN experience and BLS plus telemetry competency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to use healthcare IT systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordinate nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Ensure staff scheduling complies with unit staffing matrix and shift needs.
• Communicate with patients, families and health team members effectively.
• Maintain patient safety and regulatory readiness; document key elements accurately.
• Oversee daily unit operations, staff orientation and training.
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Perform weekend leadership rounding and participate in performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure quality patient care.
