Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with BCLS/ALS, 5 years acute care experience, and a Bachelor’s in Nursing. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
• BCLS and ALS upon hire and maintain current.
• Five (5) previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees onboarding and orientation of staff.
• Direct patient care during volume surges, increased acuity, or staffing needs.
• Mentors staff and provides education and assistance.
• Acts as first line supervisor by directing, supervising and evaluating performance and providing feedback and conflict resolution.
• Collaborates with leadership to facilitate patient flow and address patient complaints.
• Participates in performance improvement activities including medical record reviews and environment of care rounds.
