Job summary
NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Operations Administrator to oversee clinical operations in a rotating-shift role primarily at Glenview, with the potential to float to Evanston, Skokie, or Highland Park. This position also functions as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, guiding clinical practices and staff development.
You will lead educational initiatives, mentor nursing staff, and drive quality-improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with state,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience with emphasis on acute care; critical care preferred.
- Current Illinois RN license (IDFPR) required.
- BLS and ACLS required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical expert and mentor nursing staff.
- Collaborate with teams to assess and improve patient care protocols.
- Lead educational sessions, workshops, and in-service training.
- Coach nurses to promote professional growth and excellence in care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Support regulatory audits and inspections.
- Stay current with nursing research and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain records of education, quality initiatives, and outcomes.
- Generate reports to track progress and impact.
