GMH Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical team on the Night shift. The role requires an active RN license and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred. One year of healthcare experience is expected.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, document assessments, formulate plans of care, administer medications, and participate in discharge planning while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Competenze

• Current RN license for the state where services will be provided or multi-state RN license through the eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Assess patient health status and medical history; complete admission assessment.
• Formulate and initiate plan of care; establish care priorities.
• Evaluate and document interventions; adjust plan of care as needed.
• Administer medications with two patient identifiers and document effects.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
• Support staff and participate in credentialing and quality initiatives.
