Job summary

GMH Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical team on the Night shift. The role requires an active RN license and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred. One year of healthcare experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state where services will be provided or multi-state RN license through the eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and medical history; complete admission assessment.
• Formulate and initiate plan of care; establish care priorities.
• Evaluate and document interventions; adjust plan of care as needed.
• Administer medications with two patient identifiers and document effects.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
• Support staff and participate in credentialing and quality initiatives.
