The University of Southern California's Keck Hospital of USC is seeking a Registered Nurse (CA) to provide comprehensive medical-surgical and critical care support within a multidisciplinary team. You will apply the Nursing Process from admission through discharge, emphasizing accurate assessment, diagnosis, planning and documentation.

Collaborate with clinicians to ensure patient safety, education, and high-quality outcomes while maintaining compliance with policies and standards.

Formación

• Req Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN) as standard credential.
• CA RN license required (Board of Registered Nursing).
• ACLS & BLS certifications required for critical care areas.
• Basic Fire Life Safety training or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients upon admission and with shifts/changes in condition.
• Develop and update Plans of Care with outcomes.
• Administer medications and IV therapy per protocol.
• Document care accurately on all charts and forms.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care.
• Collaborate with Case Manager for discharge planning.
• Operate and monitor care equipment safely.
• Follow regulatory safety standards and JCAHO/HIPAA guidelines.
• Contribute to professional development and quality improvement.
