Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required and active RN licensure in California.
• ACLS and BLS healthcare provider certifications required or as stated for departments: Intensive Care, Step-down, Telemetry.
• Ability to apply nursing knowledge to plan and provide patient care across units.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies and procedures; applies Nursing Process to patient care.
• Assesses patient and completes nursing assessment upon admission and with changes in condition.
• Develops and revises individualized plans of care and documents outcomes.
• Administers medications and IV therapy; delegates tasks per scope of practice.
• Provides patient and family education and discharge planning in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation across flows sheets and care plans.
