Medcor is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Clinic Manager at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Waterloo, Iowa. This leadership role blends hands-on patient care with clinic operations, offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the opportunity to influence workforce health in a non-hospital setting.

You will lead the on-site clinical team, manage staffing and training, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate with client leadership to deliver

Qualifikationen

• Active, unrestricted RN license valid for practice in Iowa.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lead, manage, and support a clinical team.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort using EMR and healthcare technology.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50‑pound emergency response bag.
• Patient‑first mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
• Provide hands‑on assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses using evidence‑based protocols.
• Support basic primary care, urgent care, and occupational health services.
• Manage clinic staffing, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee development.
• Build and maintain relationships with client leadership, employees, and Medcor's operations team.
• Collaborate with onsite safety, HR, and benefits professionals to support workplace health initiatives.
• Provide case management and support employees throughout recovery and return‑to‑work.
• Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings, including PATs.
• Support OSHA record‑keeping and occupational health documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
• Ensure compliance with Medcor's policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
• Promote a positive, patient‑focused clinic environment.
