Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health by practicing at the highest level of licensure. You will collaborate with providers and the care team to coordinate care across the continuum and support patients, families and friends in their wellness journey.

The role requires Illinois or Michigan RN licensure and BLS certification. A BSN and 6 months of RN experience are preferred, with EMR and basic MS Office proficiency.

Pay range for this position is $40.94 - $53.26/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Registered nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• License/Certifications: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
