Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse in Peoria, IL to support patient care across the continuum. You will collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams, assess physical symptoms, and mentor team members to promote best practices.

The role emphasizes care coordination, patient advocacy, and excellence in nursing practice. A BSN is preferred, with 6 months of healthcare RN experience and EMR proficiency.

• IL RN License is required.

• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Pay range for this position is $31.67 - $47.47/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Licenses/Certifications: IL RN License
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: BSN
• Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
• Other requirements/information: Ability to regularly and timely travel between various sites
