Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health at the highest licensure level. You will collaborate with providers and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support patients and families across the continuum.

The role requires current nursing licensure in Illinois or Michigan and BLS certification; BSN is preferred, with at least 6 months of RN experience. EMR and MS Office proficiency are expected, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Current licensure by State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• American Heart Association (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
• BSN preferred; 6 months RN experience in healthcare is desirable.

Pay range for this position is $31.67 - $47.47/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Registered nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• License/Certifications: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
