Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health by practicing at the highest licensure level and coordinating care across multiple sites. You will collaborate with providers and the multidisciplinary team to support patients and families, assess symptoms, and uphold professional standards.

The role requires an IL RN license with BLS, 6 months RN healthcare experience, and proficiency with EMR and Microsoft apps.

Qualifications

• IL RN license and BLS certification required.
• Experience: 6 months in healthcare RN
• Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft applications basic proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across the continuum with the care team.
• Assess and support physical symptoms; provide psychological support to patients, families and friends.
• Mentor assigned team members; promote best practices.
• Travel regularly between sites as needed

Pay range for this position is $31.67 - $47.47/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

$5,000 for (external) RNs and New Grads (internal/external)

OSF will invest in you Day 1! Registered Nurses with 5+ years of direct experience will receive a bonus of 24 hours of Vacation/Holiday Time Off frontloaded on the first day. This is in addition to our generous Time Off plans!

Overview

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licenses/Certifications: ILRN license. American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
• Other requirements/information: Ability to regularly and timely travel between various sites
