Job summary

Midwest Cardio in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in support of cardiovascular physicians. Must have cardiology knowledge or willingness to learn and expand expertise in cardiovascular care.

You will triage patients, document vital signs, assist with exams and codes, maintain electronic records, perform blood work, and support Coumadin clinics and pacemaker duties.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license.
• 1-2 years cardiology experience preferred or willingness to learn.
• BLS certification.
• Complete EKG and cardiology courses within 12 months.
• Strong communication skills and cardiology knowledge.

Responsibilities

Specific Duties:

• Assist with exams, orders, injections, and patient education.

• Perform blood work, assist with Coumadin clinics, and pacemaker duties.
• Assist with insurance pre-certifications, supply ordering, and clinic checks.

Compensation: Pay starting at $34.37.
