Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Oregon seeks a dedicated registered nurse for the day shift. You will provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team and support patients and families.

You will document care accurately, advocate for patients, and participate in planning and teaching. The role requires an RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and flexibility to work across units.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross at hire.
• ACLS and/or PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team in ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Maintains accurate and complete documentation of nursing services and serves as a patient advocate.
• Educates patients based on assessment of needs and develops, implements and evaluates a plan of care.
• Communicates patient status and plan of care to other caregivers and administers medications when needed.
