Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Oregon as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification is required at hire in all units, unless ACLS/PALS are already defined in crosswalk.
• ACLS within 6 months and PALS within 12 months may be required.

Responsibilities

• Meets health system's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge to care for Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients as applicable.
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments and plan of care.
• Educates patients based on assessment of needs and plans of care.
• Communicates patient status and plan of care to caregivers.
• Administers medications and demonstrates safe operation of patient care equipment.
