Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift in Oregon. You will provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team, assess and plan patient care, document thoroughly, and advocate for patients and families. Requirements include Oregon RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN preferred. ACLS/PALS within 6 months if not current.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Oregon as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• ACLS or PALS certification within 6 months if not already current.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and family education.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing services and advocate for patients.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and discharge planning.
• Ensure safe operation of patient care equipment and administer medications as prescribed.
