Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital, a physician-owned facility in Lubbock, TX, seeks an RN Circulator to join our surgical team. You will assist physicians, monitor patient status, document data and participate in post-procedure care, while maintaining patient safety, accuracy, and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures and providing continuity of care.
• Observe and document physiologic monitoring data and initiate appropriate action.
• Address the psychosocial needs of the patient and family.
• Document patient data and charges accurately in the chart.
• Safely administer medications and IV solutions while tracking narcotics.
• Review chart for accurate charges and procedures; perform data entry for statistics.
• On-call duties with timely response and patient transport coordination.
