Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital is seeking an RN Circulator to join our cardiovascular team in Lubbock, TX. The shift is 0630-1500, with on-call duties as needed and opportunities for professional growth within a physician-owned hospital that values teamwork and patient care.

You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, document patient data, monitor physiologic data, manage medications and charges, and help ensure safe, efficient care for our cardiac,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a nurse in the state of Texas.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• 2 years Cath Lab experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures and providing continuity of care.
• Observe and document physiologic monitoring data and initiate appropriate action.
• Address the psychosocial needs of the patient and family.
• Accurately and efficiently document patient data and charges on the patient record.
• Safely and appropriately administer medication and IV solutions while demonstrating accountability for tracking narcotics.
