Job summary
Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking a dedicated RN Circulator to join our team. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitor patients, and document care and charges.
The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN licensure, BCLS and ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience. We offer a family atmosphere, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a nurse in the state of Texas.
- BCLS and ACLS required.
- 2 years Critical Care experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the physician in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Observe and document physiologic monitoring data and take action as needed.
- Address the psychosocial needs of the patient and family.
- Accurately document patient data and charges on the chart.
- Safely administer medications and IV solutions while tracking narcotics.
- Check patient charts for pertinent data and perform assessments.
- Adhere to radiation-reduction protocols.
- Assist with safe patient transport and participate in quality improvement.
