Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, TX is seeking an RN Circulator to join our heart team. The role involves assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, documenting data, and ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures and providing continuity of care.
• Observe and document physiologic monitoring data and initiate appropriate action.
• Address the psychosocial needs of the patient and family.
• Document patient data and charges on the patient record accurately.
• Safely administer medications and IV solutions while tracking narcotics.
• Maintain inventory and medications; monitor expiration dates.
• On-call duties per protocol including notification of staff and physician.
