About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the Childbirth Center is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This per diem role is ideal for nurses with labor and delivery experience who are looking to provide family-centered care in a dynamic environment.

• Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating

What You'll Do

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Provide family-centered care for patients with antepartum medical conditions, in labor, giving birth, and postpartum.
• Interact with patients on an inter-disciplinary level, adapting to their intellectual and physical abilities.

Requirements

Education

• Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• Labor and Delivery experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts - required
• Basic Life Support - required
• ACLS - required within 6 months
• NRP - required within 6 months
• STABLE certification - required within 90 days of hire
