Job summary

USA Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across units on the Gulf Coast. The role includes direct patient care, medication administration, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include supervision of staff, CPR readiness, and adherence to infection control standards, with opportunities to mentor new nurses and students.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Alabama or compact state.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within 18 months of hire.
• BCLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care per unit standards.
• Supervises and coordinates care with licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Administers medications and blood products following policy.
• Maintains accurate medical records in EMR.
• Performs CPR and basic life support as needed.
• Acts as preceptor for new nurses and students.
• Ensures infection control and safety standards are followed.
