Job summary

USA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide family-centered care across diverse patient populations on the Gulf Coast. You will supervise staff, perform clinical procedures, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires RN licensure in Alabama, CPR certification, and NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire. Minor shift variability and adherence to safety standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• RN licensure/state licensure required per Alabama Nurse Licensure Compact.
• BCLS (American Red Cross) certification within 30 days is required.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 30 days is required.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Practices family centered nursing according to policies and Nurse Practice Act.
• Serves as charge nurse when assigned.
• Supervises and coordinates patient care by licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Demonstrates CPR according to AHA standards.
• Maintains compliance with all policies and ethical standards.
