Job summary

Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our health and rehab center team. The role focuses on direct patient care, supervising CNAs, administering medications, and coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Experience administering prescribed medications/treatments.
• Strong patient care and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of CNAs.
• Provide individualized nursing care per each resident's plan.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Explain procedures to gain patient cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Observe vital signs and monitor progress.
• Maintain nursing records and care plans for continuity.
• Monitor residents' emotional state and prep for discharge when needed.
• Perform additional duties to deliver exceptional resident care.
