Job summary

Aliya Healthcare in Chicago is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. The RN oversees shift nursing care, delegates tasks, and ensures compliance with facility policies and procedures.

You will collaborate with the health care team to develop individualized care plans, administer medications, educate residents and families, monitor changes in conditions, and mentor staff while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active Illinois RN license.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and provide quality care.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Document care and changes in condition per guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and mentor staff as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols and ongoing staff development.
