Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active RN license in Illinois.
• No abuse convictions on record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and provide quality care.
• Able to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Capable of lifting, bending, and standing as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments; evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development and evaluations.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
• Stay current on facility procedures; participate in in-service and continuing education.
• Identify and respond to changes in residents’ conditions.
• Document care provided and changes per guidelines.
• Act as a charge nurse and provide clinical support to staff.
• Follow all safety protocols in the facility.
