Job summary

Aliya Healthcare seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care in our skilled nursing facility in Chicago. The RN oversees unit care, delegates tasks, and ensures adherence to policies, while collaborating with the health team to develop comprehensive care plans.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, demonstrates strong communication, and can manage physical demands and evolving resident conditions with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active RN license in Illinois.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Able to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development and evaluations.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education.
• Identify and respond to changes in residents' conditions.
• Document care, condition changes, and relevant information per guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and provide clinical support to staff.
