Job summary

Aliya Healthcare in Chicago, IL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver total nursing care for residents on the assigned unit. The RN will oversee staff, delegate duties, and ensure adherence to all facility policies and procedures.

You will collaborate with the health team to develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, educate residents and families, monitor changes in conditions, and act as a charge nurse when needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development and evaluations.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed safely.
