Job summary

Avir at Lomaland in El Paso, TX is seeking an RN Charge Nurse Leader to oversee daily nursing operations and lead a collaborative inpatient team. You will coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The role requires a current Texas RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to direct care plans, monitor outcomes, and drive quality improvements in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Develop and implement effective patient care plans in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team
• Monitor and report on patient outcomes and recommend improvements to patient care practices
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient care
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and professional development
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and medication administration records
