Ensures optimal patient care by serving as a resource for staff, patients, and families. Coordinates care with other departments and assists physicians.

Director of Medical-Surgical Services

Essential Functions:

1. Performs assessment skills
2. Plans nursing care
3. Intervenes with appropriate actions after needs are identified
4. Evaluates assessment, planning, and intervention processes
5. Demonstrates professional and personal development
6. Delivers direct patient care suitable for adult and geriatric patients

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Required

Required Skills:

Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management skills.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days.

Required Licenses:

Current licensure by WV State Board of Nursing or current compact license.
