Job Summary

Reports to: Director of Medical-Surgical Services

Essential Functions

• Perform assessment skills
• Plan nursing care
• Intervene with appropriate action after needs are identified
• Evaluate assessment, planning, and intervention processes
• Demonstrate professional and personal development
• Deliver direct patient care suitable for adult and geriatric patients

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of a Nursing Program
• Skills Required: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, handle stressful environments
• Certifications: BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Licenses: Current licensure by WV State Board of Nursing or a valid compact license
