Job summary

Ebenezer in Edina, MN is seeking a Registered Charge Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate personal care in our Aurora on France TCU unit. The RN will ensure consistency with each resident's care plan, coordinate medications, and document care activities in accordance with policies.

The role requires an MN RN license and BLS certification with a 3-week grace period for BLS. Night shifts, weekends every other, and opportunities for growth are offered within our TCU and broader senior living

Qualifications

• Current MN RN license or obtain it by start date.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS).

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Registered Charge Nurse - RN who will provide personal care to improve and/or maintain residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our patients in our beautiful TCU Transitional Care Unit (Aurora on France TCU) building in Edina, MN!

• 56 hours per two weeks
• Night shift
• Every other weekend

Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior living community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan.

Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies.

Required

• Current MN RN license or obtain it by start date.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS).

Preferred

• Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems.
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to get along with residents, families and physicians or providers.
• Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population.
