A leading healthcare provider in New York is seeking an Anesthetist to administer anesthetics and monitor patients during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a registered nurse and a strong skill set in managing patient care during surgery. This position requires substantial physical stamina and interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Overview
Administers intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited New York State R.N. program; a BSN degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years as a RN.
Knowledge and Skills: Good interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements: Position requires prolonged periods of standing, reaching, walking throughout the working day. Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
