Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the CDU. This full-time, 3x12-hour day shift role includes a $20,000 commitment-incentive bonus and a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license required or compact allowed.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year CDU experience required.
• Two years ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Delivers care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Documents medical necessity in the medical record.
• Completes and revises Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conducts timely quality improvement assessments.
