Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Decision Unit to join our 24-bed observation/medical unit. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care and collaborate with hospitalists to ensure safe, timely care.

The role is full-time, with 3 twelve-hour day shifts from 7a to 7p, and every third weekend. A sign-on bonus is eligible for qualified candidates; NC RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
