UC San Diego Health in San Diego is seeking a Registered Nurse with CDCES certification to provide ambulatory diabetes care within the Endocrinology clinic, delivering diabetes education and coordinating care across providers.

The RN CDCES will conduct phone triage, manage patient communication, perform point-of-care testing, and support program growth through accurate documentation and compliant billing; experience with insulin pumps and CGM is required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• California RN license required.
• BLS/CPR with commitment to obtain BART within six months of hire.
• CDCES certification required at hire, or eligible to obtain CDCES certification within a defined timeframe.
• Minimum three years of direct clinical experience managing patients with diabetes in an Endocrinology/Diabetes setting.
• Minimum three years of hands-on clinical experience supporting patients who use insulin pumps and CGM.
• Demonstrated experience managing or supporting insulin pump platforms (Tandem/Omnipod/Medtronic).
• Experience interpreting CGM data and CGM metrics (TIR/TBR/TAR/GMI).
• Experience titrating basal and bolus insulin and non-insulin therapies.
• Experience with Type 1 diabetes patients including pump therapy/MDI/CGM.
