Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking an experienced registered nurse to assist physicians and allied staff in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and endovascular procedures. A strong critical care background and on-call availability are essential.

Requirements include NJ RN license, 1–3 years in critical care or cath lab, BLS/ACLS, and EKG interpretation. BSN preferred; salary begins at a competitive starting rate with comprehensive benefits.

Description

Position Summary: Assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared/educated/supported during procedures. A strong critical care experience to recognize/handle emergency situations. On Call availability is required.

Experience:

Required: 1-3 years Critical Care experience and or Cath Lab experience. BLS and ACLS. EKG interpretation.

Preferred: Previous Cath Lab experience.

Education:Diploma/Associates degree required. BSN is preferred.

License and Credentials:NJ RN license required.CCRN or RCIS is preferred.

Skills:

Required: IV certification, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.

Preferred: Sterile technique, preparing for sterile procedures.

Bi-Weekly Hours: 80 hours

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 6pm, varying start times depending on department needs, four 10 hours shifts plus on call.

The minimum starting rate for this position is $47.08
