Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a qualified RN or CV invasive specialist to assist physicians in invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. The role requires knowledge of Cath Lab/EP equipment and the ability to provide cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.

Minimum RN licensure in Georgia and RCIS/RCES certification or eligibility; BCLS and ACLS are expected. This position is located at East Side Medical Center with sign-on bonus up to $7,500.

Qualifications

• RN licensure GA is required.
• 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience is preferred.
• RCIS/RCES certification or eligibility is required by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures.
• Maintain Cath Lab/EP equipment and ensure readiness.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular
Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Depending on the education held above, one of the following is required:

RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure

RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BCLS and ACLS
