Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Maplewood, MN seeks a Cardiovascular RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. John's Hospital.

This full-time role is 80 hours biweekly on the Day shift (8am–4:30pm) with on-call duties and a 30-minute live proximity requirement. The successful candidate will support invasive cardiac studies, coordinate with physicians and the health care team, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing
• 2 years Critical Care Experience
• ACLS (American Heart Assoc)
• BLS (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
• Utilizes nursing process by assessing, implementing and evaluating care given to assigned patients.
• Communicates accurately and effectively with patient/family and healthcare members regarding plan of care, nursing interventions and patient information
• Coordinates care with physicians. Directs, coordinates and acts as a liaison for other health care personnel.
• Manages and supervises other unit personnel as needed.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibility as assigned.

Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Cardiovascular RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This position is 80hours per two weeks on the Dayshift (8am - 4:30pm) with flexible start and end times, on call 1 day a week and 1 weekend a month (must live within 30 minutes from Hospital).

Responsible for delivery of quality patient care in accordance with established standards of practice. Assist the physician in performing invasive cardiac studies, both diagnostic and therapeutic.

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac Critical Care experience
• Previous Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
• Electrophysiology experience
