Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a 13-week contract in a Florida hospital. The role involves performing cath lab procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP with a team of RNs and technicians.

The unit has two labs and a staffing model of three per case; day shift typically has 1–2 RNs and 1–2 techs. On-call night shift and travel weekend rotations are required.

Qualifications

• RN license required and cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
• Experience with LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP procedures.
• Unit has 2 labs; staffing 3 per case; day shift staffing 3 per case; night shift on-call.
• Travelers work every other weekend and rotate holidays.
• Independent attitude and strong work ethic required.
• Preferred experience in vascular/peripheral intervention and EP.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac cath lab setting on day shift.
• Support LHC, RHC, PCI and related procedures.
• Collaborate with 1–2 RNs and 1–2 techs per lab per case.
• Maintain patient ratios 1:1 for procedures.
• Utilize GE EMR Meditech for records.

Description:The role involves working in a cardiac cath lab setting.Candidates should have experience with LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP procedures.The unit has 2 labs and a staff of 10.During the day shift, each lab has 1 or 2 RNs and 1 or 2 techs for a total of 3 per case.Night shift staff are on-call and work as a 3-man team.Patient ratios are 1:1 for procedures.An independent attitude and a strong work ethic are essential for the ideal candidate.Preferred experience includes vascular/peripheral intervention and EP experience.The unit utilizes GE EMR - Meditech for records.Consideration will be given to candidates with additional relevant experience.Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and rotate holiday shifts with hospital employees.
