Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Reston, VA. This 13-week contract role requires a minimum of 2 years cath lab experience and a valid RN license, with RCIS preferred and willingness to take call.

Responsibilities include support for heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions in a 9-bed pre/post area and the cath lab, using Mac Lab and Philips C-arm equipment; daily workflow includes 5–6 staff coverage and CPOE-based documentation. Scrubs provided.

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab.The unit has a 9-bed pre and post area and one cath lab.Daily staffing consists of 5 to 6 staff members.Typically, there are 3 staff members assigned for elective cases.Equipment used includes a Mac Lab and Philips C arm.The electronic medical record system is CPOE.Typical procedures performed include heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions.Scrubs are provided by the hospital.
